I’m Danielle, content creator for ModernMade. Hi.

For the past two years, my partner and I have embarked on a big adventure of remodeling our 1950s home. It has been a crazy adventure, a test of patience, and a strengthening of self and trust in each other as we learn how to do…everything. Thank you internet for all you’ve taught us. But now, we want to share all the things we didn’t find on the internet. What we had to learn the hard way.

After throwing myself into remodeling, researching every single of aspect of tiny technical details, I felt like my head was buzzing. Constantly. And now, the remodeling is done, but the buzzing is still there, my brain just swirling around all of these ideas and knowledge that I might not ever use again but worked so hard to gain.

Thus, the ModernMade blog was born. I hope you like it.
